Registration and Enrollment

Piper’s Playhouse is encouraging every pet owner to register your dogs in our Doggy Day Care. Complete the information online to enroll.  Please provide as much information as possible about your pet/pets. This link also includes the Rules and Regulations, as well as the Client Agreement for Piper's Playhouse.

All dogs must also have updated vaccination for Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella (Kennel Cough).

Personality Evaluations are given to assess the current social ability of your dog and to determine if there are any aggressive tendencies that may pose a potential risk for the staff or other pets in our care.

By registering you agree to receive text messages in regard to your pet and their appointments with Piper’s Playhouse.  Messages will include  boarding, daycare, and grooming reminders as well as any important communications about your pet while in our care.  You may opt out by replying STOP or QUIT at anytime.  Data and message rates may apply

Vaccinations Required

Your dogs can enjoy any of our services if they are vaccinated for the following:

    • Rabies (dogs & cats)
    • Distemper/parvo
  • Kennel Cough (Bordetella)*
  • Feline Distemper (cats only)

We no longer accept breeder vaccinations.

All pets must have proof of vaccinations from a licensed veterinarian upon arrival.

All dogs above the age of six months must also be spayed or neutered to be allowed in the day care rooms. If your pet isn’t spayed or neutered, don’t worry, we can still offer them a special play room where our staff will interact and play with them.

*Kennel cough is a highly contagious airborne infection similar to the common cold that kids can pick up while at human day care. No vaccine is 100% effective as new strains of Kennel Cough continually develop, and some dogs can be more susceptible to the infection than others. We take all possible precautions to eliminate the possible spread of this infection in our facilities. We also follow a rigorous cleaning schedule.

In addition to requiring a current Bordetella vaccination, we highly recommend that owners get this vaccination two weeks prior to their first boarding or day care visit. The vaccine can take up to two weeks to become fully effective. There is also some current debate about how long the various vaccines will protect your dog. Ask your veterinarian for more information and make sure they know when your dog will be staying with us.
